It's great for sampling hardware or internal resampling. It has the best Browser out there and awesome sound libraries, especially if you use Komplete. I prefer Maschine for creating new ideas on, but not for finishing songs in. If somebody has experience with these options please help me to make ''the right choice''.

Another option is Novation's Launchpad Pro MKIII, but I haven't seem to much about it, have to do my homework. I have thought about getting an MPC One (since Akai is almost like ''tradition'' in Hip Hop culture) but I tried the software that comes with it and didn't like it at all. On the other hand I use Ableton Live as my main DAW for music production, which is more powerful and flexible than the Maschine software, so the route of getting Push 2 over the Maschine makes a lot of sense too. I've heard great things about Maschine in terms of making Hip Hop, besides, like I mentioned before, I have a Komplete Kontrol keyboard and I use Kontakt libraries too (I also sample from vinyls, etc.), so a Maschine would make sense as a companion for my NI keyboard, same company, I imagine that compatibility must be perfect. in order to make my production workflow faster and more intuitive in general. Now, I'm planning to buy some groovebox/controller to launch sample clips, do finger drumming, record, create, etc. I'm a Hip Hop producer/Sound technician, I use Ableton Live for beatmaking but I export the tracks to Reaper for mixing and mastering, also have a Komplete Kontrol S MK2 as my main keyboard.
